"The Practical Nomad" gets honorable mention from BATW

The 3rd edition of The Practical Nomad: How to Travel Around the World has won an honorable mention from the Bay Area Travel Writers as one of the best travel books published in 2004.

Entries in the BATW contest for travel writing by high school seniors in the San Francisco Bay Area are still open through 30 April 2005.
