"How an airline's bankruptcy might affect travelers"

"If I were a bettin' man, I'd put some money on a big airline filing for bankruptcy protection in the not-too-distant future," says my fellow travel journalist and consumer advocate Christopher Elliott in this wire-service story in the Settle Times, other newspapers, and on his own Elliott.org Web site.

I agree with Chris Elliott. It's a matter of which airline is next, and when -- not if.

Thanks to Chris for quoting from my FAQ About Airline Bankruptcies , which goes into much more detail than he had space for in the confines of a newspaper article.
